Brandon + Jessica | Engaged
Brandon and Jessica s engagement session was my final local shoot for the season and it was perfection! The weather was beautiful and the light was golden! Not only were the locations and the light beautiful, I quickly realized that these two are incredibly photogenic! I don t think they even realize how amazing they are in front of the camera. We met at the Capital and then headed down to one of Richmond s more historic streets, Monument Avenue. This session was perfectly timed because the trees AND the streets were still full of colorful leaves and that is always my #1 goal for late fall shoots!
Everly s Eighth Month
This is the first month where I have seriously considered not doing a monthly Evy post. It s our busiest month. We re creating and releasing a new course, we re shooting weddings EVERY weekend, Evy is teething and had a cold, we ve had 5 engagement sessions, and we re finishing our basement and turning it into an apartment. Wow. It s a lot! In between editing video files, creating a massive workbook, preparing for a webinar, editing wedding blog posts and engagement galleries, I made some time to do something that brings me joy personally, and that s organizing images of Evy s life!
Derek + Kerri
Kerri came all the way down to Virginia for a coaching session with me years and years ago. When I first met Kerri, her joy and giddy nature was evident and I thought maybe she was just excited to finally be at her session!! Well, an hour later, when most people s initial joy and excitement would die down a bit, Kerri was still all smiles and energy. It was then that I realized how special she was. Kerri has a joy and a perspective on life that is so different from the rest of the world. It s like she sees everything through a different lens and it s amazing!
