Chris Mears is thisclose to toppling Tom Daley from his World s Sexiest Diver pedestal: The 21-year-old Olympian appears in a sexy photo shoot in the debut issue of Winq. a new gay men s magazine.

Last year Mears posed nude in Gay Times annual Naked issue, declaring “I’m trying to steal [Tom Daley s] gay fan base by doing this shoot.” He also admits that since the 2012 London Olympics he s gotten propositioned on Twitter quite frequently. I’ve had a couple of funny suggestions, normally guys asking for foursomes with me, Tom and [fellow Team Great Britain diver] Jack Laugher.”

Winq, which debuted last week, is billed as a luxury lifestyle and entertainment magazine. In addition to Mears summer swimsuit spread, the premier issue also includes interviews with Jared Leto and Boy George, and columns on fatherhood and LGBT rights in India.

This is a different kind of gay magazine for a community that’s increasingly developed, fast-maturing and at ease with itself, says publisher Darren Styles. It’s more than time for a sector flagship publication that gathers together people, politics, current affairs, style, travel, culture and health into a relevant whole and speaks to a key demographic.”

Winq is available in print and on iTunes and Google Play. Check out images and video from the Chris Mears shoot below.

Chevrolet Camaro Research

The Chevrolet Camaro is a two-door, 2+2 piece of American muscle-car history. Like its decades-long rivals, the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger, the Camaro is recognizable even by those who don’t follow or have much enthusiasm for cars.

Camaros are—as they always have been—rear-wheel-drive cars that put style and performance over other requirements.

A new Camaro was introduced for 2016. The lineup includes a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, as well as V-6 and V-8 models, in both coupe and convertible form.

For 2017, Chevy adds the supercharged, 650-horsepower V-8 Camaro ZL1 for both the coupe and the convertible. Also new are the 1LE handling package, a 50th Anniversary Edition package, a “FIFTY” badge on the steering wheel of all models, and a Teen Driver feature that allows parents to set controls and review driving habits.

The new Chevy Camaro

The latest Chevy Camaro rides on GM’s Alpha rear-drive architecture, shared with the Cadillac CTS sedan and ATS sedan and coupe.

The new Camaro is significantly lighter and smaller than its predecessor, which gives it a more nimble feel and improved fuel economy. Styling is reminiscent of the last-generation model with fewer sharp creases and a tidier overall package, as well as a much more attractive cockpit, albeit one with a smaller back seat.

Production has moved to Michigan, to the same plant near Lansing that builds the ATS.

Coupe and convertible body styles are offered with a choice of four powerplants. They include a 275-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder; a 335-hp, 3.6-liter V-6; a 455-hp, 6.2-liter LT1 V-8; and the new 650-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V-8. With each of these engines, there’s a choice between a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic transmission. The LT4 comes with a new 10-speed automatic, while the others get an 8-speed auto. For the turbo-4, GM estimates a 5.4-second 0 to 60 mph time. That drops to 5.0 seconds with the V-6. With the V-8-powered SS, it’s pegged at 4.0 seconds. The ZL1 is even quicker.

Inside, the sixth-generation Camaro has good front seat room, but a very tight rear seat. Chevy offers 7.0- and 8.0-inch versions of its MyLink infotainment system, both with Apply Car Play and Android Auto.

The Chevrolet Camaro SS was named Motor Authority’s Best Car To Buy 2016. over rivals like the Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang.

Introduced in 1967 as a response to the stunning success of the Ford Mustang, the Camaro has had its ups and downs in its 50 years on the car scene. Paired until the early 2000s with a companion Pontiac Firebird, the Camaro has been offered in six different generations as a two-door sports coupe, with V-6 or V-8 power and rear-wheel drive. Special editions have included the Camaro RS, Camaro SS, and Camaro IROC-Z, and convertible and T-top body styles.

Until 2002, GM had built the Camaro in each model year for 35 consecutive years, but GM decided to kill the muscle car in 2002, ending production of the then-composite-bodied Camaro in Canada.

The Camaro nameplate wasn’t revived until the 2010 model year, when the car was relaunched as a coupe. It retained the same basic setup—a choice of V-6 or V-8 engines, manual or automatic transmissions, and rear-wheel drive—but was somewhat larger than the car that preceded it. It used a rear-drive architecture that was originally planned for use throughout GM, including in Buick and Cadillac luxury vehicles, but only found a home under the Pontiac G8, a handful of Holdens, the Chevy Caprice fleet vehicle, and Chevy’s SS sedan. GM built this Camaro at its factory in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

The fifth-generation Camaro took its cues from classic 1960s models. The homage pieces included vent-like indents in front of the rear wheels and the brow over the headlights. The interior of the Camaro used square gauges and additional meters at the base of the center stack, as well as a deep-dish steering wheel that recalled the 1967 model.

Base editions of the fifth-generation Camaro got a 323-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 used in other GM cars, coupled to 6-speed manual or automatic gearboxes. The Camaro SS borrowed the previous-generation Corvette’s 6.2-liter V-8, offering it in two detuned strengths—a 400-hp version with a 6-speed automatic, and a 426-hp variant teamed to the 6-speed manual. Convertible versions were available for both the SS and V-6 models.

New for 2012 was the ZL1. a 580-hp beast that rode on magnetic dampers and bore an even fiercer look than the SS. It was joined in the 2013 model year by a convertible edition.

Older Camaros have been derided for clunky handling from live-axle rear ends; the fifth-generation Camaro rode on an independent rear suspension and simply drove better, smoother, and with less twitchiness than ever before. That was even more the case with the SS and with its 1LE package. which received tires sized identically front to back, stiffer anti-roll bars, and other suspension revisions to give it neutral, track-ready handling. This Camaro even offered a special Hot Wheels edition for the nostalgic collector.

An updated 2014 Camaro brought slightly redefined looks, including a rather significant visual re-working of the front end, with a narrower headlight and grille opening adding a dose of aggression. (ZL1 models kept the older front end for better cooling.) The 2014 Camaro also saw the return of the famous Z/28 model —in a more fiercely track-inspired form than ever.

The 2015 Camaro carried forward 2014’s updates essentially unchanged. Chevy offered several special editions, including the Green Flash and Commemorative Edition models, which played with the aesthetics and added various options to create new packages.

    Coke (Cocaine) Addiction Rehab

Here at Rehab Recovery we are dedicated to helping you find the right rehabilitation centre to help you or those you care about with coke addiction .

Rehab centres are normally the safest and most effective way to make a full recovery and be able to start a healthy new life. The main thing to remember about rehabilitation is that it treats an entire person, not just their addiction to coke.

    Rehab for Coke Addiction

As with any drug addiction. treatment should begin with full detox in a supervised environment with proper medical support. This is then followed by a full rehab programme, usually residential although outpatient options are available.

The rehab programme is normally heavily therapeutic and is designed to allow patients to understand the nature of their addiction to coke, how and why they became addicted (including underlying psychological or emotional issues) and how to move into a life which is free of cocaine.

Most coke rehab programmes will be residential while others may be outpatient-based, although most tend to involve a routine of individual and group therapy sessions, allowing people with similar problems to share their feelings and situations as well as exchange useful tips and healthy coping strategies.

It is often very valuable for the families and friends of coke addicts to be involved in the rehab process. Sometimes family counselling is needed. Coke can have a high relapse rate so addiction aftercare is also necessary to prevent the problem from occurring again in the future.

    Find The Right Rehab Centre

To discuss which coke addiction rehabilitation options will work best for your needs and circumstances, just give us a call today on 08000 886 686 and we will be happy to talk you through the best options to help you get onto the road to recovery.

Is Bitcoin Legal in South Africa?

    What is a Bitcoin?

A Bitcoin is a crytpic and controversial little bundle of data that has been used to make digital payments since 2009. It is a decentralised, virtual “cryptocurrency” that lingers beyond the iron grip of the banks and the government, and is rather controlled by the will of the people: their will to mine it, to trade it, and to trust it.

Willing participants can use Bitcoins to buy and sell goods and services without the involvement of commercial banks. And it’s not just your local coffee shop which may accept it as payment. Companies such as Microsoft, takealot.com and even law firms have gotten behind the cryptocurrency.

    Filling your virtual Bitcoin wallet

Bitcoins can be purchased through Bitcoin exchanges using traditional currencies, or accepted by venders as a form of payment. Alternatively, they can be mined by computers which are ”rewarded” for solving complex mathematical algorithms in their effort to validate, secure and record all transactions on the network. These transactions are stored in a blockchain a shared public ledger containing a history of all transactions.

There are several bitcoin trading platforms which allow you to buy and sell bitcoins. Some only accept cash transactions due to the long periods that it takes for credit to clear. Bitcoin exhanges that accept credit and provide same-day bitcoin delivery will generally have incredibly sophisticated fraud detection systems, while others will wait for the credit to clear before sending the purchaser the bitcoins.

    Why is Bitcoin so controversial?

What cannot be controlled, cannot be trusted. The Bitcoin is decentralised and thus operates without the authority or administration of the state or the banks. This leads to various issues including concerns about taxation; circumvention of exchange control regulations; loss of fees for banks; and in the future perhaps even a diminishing demand for local currencies. It’s ease of use and low transaction costs provide an attractive alternative to traditional banking.

Furthermore, Bitcoin users remain largely anonymous. This makes it ideal for money laundering and for use in illicit activities such as purchasing illegal substances. Bitcoin was the fuel that fed the notorious “Silk Road”, an online platform which was used predominantly for the purchase of illegal drugs. According to the FBI, from 6 February 2011 to 23 July 2013, Silk Road generated sales in an amount of 9 519 664 Bitcoins (worth approximately R73 billion at the time of writing).

Is Bitcoin legal in South Africa?

In short, yes. As long as what you’re doing is legal. The cryptocurrency is currently unregulated in South Africa. The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) has in the past warned that “Bitcoin has no legal status or a regulatory framework. Thus it poses a number of risks for those that would choose to transact with it such as the lack of guarantee of security, convertibility or value.”

The SARB further advised that “it does not oversee, supervise or regulate the VC landscape, systems or intermediaries for effectiveness, soundness, integrity or robustness. Consequently, any and all activities related to the acquisition, trading or use of VCs (particularly DCVCs) are performed at the end-user’s sole and independent risk and have no recourse to the Bank.”

According to the South African Reserve Bank Act, 1989 (Act no.90 of 1989), the SARB governs the management of currency and has the sole right to issue coins and notes, i.e. “Legal Tender”. Bitcoin however falls outside of the definition of legal tender. Consequently, payments made via Bitcoin in South Africa may not discharge a debtor of a monetary obligation and purchasers run the risk that their Bitcoin payments are not recognised by South African law. Merchants are also legally entitled to refuse to accept Bitcoin as legal payment.

Additionally, virtual currencies are not defined as securities in terms of the Financial Markets Act, 2012 (Act no.19 of 1989). They are therefore not subject to the regulatory standards that apply to the trading of securities.

Bitcoin remains legal and largely unregulated in most countries around the world. Many countries have however issued regulations with regards to taxation of virtual currencies.

    Should I buy Bitcoins?

The National Treasury has cautioned the public to remain extremely vigilant of the risks and benefits which accompany virtual currencies. Not only is this novel and nascent technology being scrutinised by regulators who may elect to intervene at any moment, but Bitcoin is also subject to wild price fluctuations, fraud, and criminality.

Nevertheless, it remains undeniable that cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology which supports them provide an elegant and efficient peer-to-peer solution which empowers the public to deal with their finances without government and bank interference.

    Natural Treatments for MS

    Alternative Medicine & Multiple Sclerosis

Chronic diseases like MS can often be managed and sometimes cured more effectively with alternative therapeutics than with conventional medicine. MS patients commonly seek out alternative therapies that aim to reduce inflammation and are based on changes in the diet and lifestyle.

Some of the better known complementary and alternative treatments for MS include:

    • the Swank diet and the modified MacDougall diet (also known as anti-inflammatory diet),
    • wobenzyme N/proteolytic enzyme supplementation,
    • Bee venom therapy, and
    • and EAP supplementation therapy.

Also described are some general guidelines to follow no matter what treatment the MS patient chooses. We will update information as more research data are gathered and the effectiveness of the treatment options can be determined.

    Physical Medicine for MS

Exercise is an essential part of all MS treatment plans. Regular gentle exercise can help to maintain flexibility and muscle control and counteract some of the more destabilizing effects of MS.

However, it is easy to overdo it and get discouraged by the discomfort, exacerbation of symptoms, and/or fatigue that can result from too much activity. It is important to find the balance between not enough and too much exercise. Exercise tolerance levels will change from time to time, so persevere and be consistent. Discuss your options with your doctor and explore what feels best.

Common choices for exercise support include: yoga, Tai chi/Qi gong, swimming, bicycling, and walking. Avoid strenuous exercises that can overheat your body’s core temperature, as this may exacerbate symptoms.
